The Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) happily welcomes Michael Spalding as a new Staff Attorney at its Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP). Spalding had been working as a temporary staff attorney at HAP since January. Through funding made possible through the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing, HAP was able to hire Spalding as a housing Staff Attorney.
Spalding will provide full-scope representation to especially vulnerable San Francisco individuals and families who would otherwise face eviction and homelessness without counsel. JDC is glad to have him aboard!
Please visit www.sfbar.org/hap to learn how HAP provides legal services and supporting social services to individuals and families who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, while prioritizing individuals who have mental health disabilities.
