This summer JDC’s Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) was fortunate to have two full-time summer interns from local law schools.
Brigette Latno-Mosunic is going into her third year of law school at the University of San Francisco and Ian Jacobster is going into his second year at UC Berkeley School of Law.
Under the supervision of HAP attorneys, Latno-Mosunic and Jacobster have represented tenants in unlawful detainer lawsuits. Their work has included drafting motions, discovery, deposition questions, research memos and demand letters.
They have also participated in settlement negotiations, client intake and interviews, home inspections, and disbursement calculations. Their hard work this summer has been an invaluable contribution to the HAP office and its clients.
