July 30: Women Connect Reception at Baker & McKenzie

On July 30, BASF’s No Glass Ceiling Initiative held a Women Connect Reception. More than 85 people were in attendance at the reception, hosted by Baker & McKenzie. The reception served to provide networking opportunities for successful female attorneys, law students and other legal professionals. Opening remarks were given by Barbara Klementz, Partner at Baker & McKenzie, No Glass Ceiling Initiative co-chair Erin McLeod of Wind River System and Nicole Britton-Snyder, Diversity Pipeline Programs Manager at the Justice & Diversity Center of BASF.

July 31: In-House Counsel Diversity Awards at O’Melveny & Myers

On July 31, the Justice & Diversity Center held its 4th annual In-House Counsel Diversity Awards Reception. The reception was at O’Melveny & Myers and was cosponsored by JAMS.

This year’s award recipients were Robert Shives, Fujitsu America, Inc. and Chevron Corporation Law Function. The awards recognize those who have demonstrated a sustained and meaningful commitment to increasing and retaining diversity in the legal profession.
