Two Members Named to Alameda County Judgeships

BASF Board Member Named to California Rural Legal Assistance Board
BASF Board Member Alicia Gámez, Law Offices of Alicia Gámez, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the California Rural Assistance League (CRLA). BASF has appointed representatives to the California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) Board since 1997.
Each year, CRLA provides more than 40,000 low-income rural Californians with free legal assistance and a variety of community education and outreach programs.
Morrison & Foerster Of Counsel Wins Prize for Book
Paul Goldstein, of counsel at Morrison & Foerster, recently was honored with the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction for his book, Havana Requiem.
The prize is sponsored by the ABA Journal and University of Alabama Law School and is awarded “each year to the novel that best exemplifies the role of lawyers in society.”
The Recorder Announces Top Women Tech Lawyers
The Recorder recently recognized 50 women in its “Women Leaders in Technology Law” list. The attorneys chosen are women who “demonstrate leadership and expertise in solving the most pressing legal concerns tech companies can face.”
