The Bar Association of San Francisco, the University of San Francisco School of Law, UC Hastings College of the Law, and Golden Gate University School of Law established the 1L Job Shadow Program in 2015 with the expectation of opening more doors to first-year law students looking for early exposure to practitioners and professional environments.

2017 marks the third year of the program which looks to match 45 first year law students with legal employers in San Francisco for job shadowing March 6-8.
