BASF Leader Circle firm Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe was recently named Pro Bono Partner of the Year by Swords to Plowshares, a community-based nonprofit that provides counseling and case management, employment and training, housing and legal assistance to thousands of veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area. The award recognizes Orrick’s dedication to helping veterans whose benefits have been denied.

As part of Swords to Plowshares’ Veterans Pro Bono Program, Orrick lawyers manage numerous full-scope cases and staff several legal clinics for Bay Area veterans each year. In addition, Orrick has had a continuous presence on the organization’s pro bono advisory board, including service from Orrick lawyers (and veterans themselves) Jason Flaherty and Bob Feyer.
