With the start of a new year quickly approaching, why not try a new way to increase your revenue and grow your clientele?
Join BASF’s SF-Marin Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS). January is the start of half-price membership time and for the equivalent of only $10 per month until June 2016, you can participate in BASF’s California State Bar certified LRIS.
Joining is cheaper than a gym membership – and LRIS does all the heavy lifting to market the program and pre-screen, in six different languages, the case referrals that come to you. The extensive SF-Marin LRIS marketing efforts work to your advantage by bringing more calls to LRIS phone lines and a greater number of clients to you.
Also, as a participating member of the SF-Marin LRIS you receive 20 percent off BASF’s Mediation Services Program. Instead of $295 per party, your fee is $250 per party for the first three hours of the mediator’s time. BASF mediators are certified with an average 30 years of experience and offer services in over 30 areas of the law. You choose the mediator right for your case on the BASF website.
Did you know that LRIS serves Marin County as well as San Francisco? If you have an office in Marin County, you too can participate in the two-time ABA Cindy Raisch Award-winning LRIS. Attorneys with offices in both counties are welcome to apply to both the Marin and San Francisco panels.
And if these reasons don’t have you printing out the application already, here’s one more – by participating in LRIS you contribute to the LRIS Fund for Public Service. This fund helps to support the charitable programs of BASF and the Justice & Diversity Center including, the Bay Area Minority Law Student Scholarship Program and the School-To-College Program.
Apply now and get started in December, a month early! All that is required to apply is to fill out the Attorney Application & Agreement and individual panel applications; pay the membership fee; and mail or email the documents to Membership Coordinator, Yvonne Ng. Contact LRIS Membership Coordinator, Yvonne Ng, at 415-782-8951 or yng@sfbar.org for direct service.
The sooner you submit your application, the sooner referrals start coming your way.
