The Justice and Diversity Center (JDC) is gearing up for the 2018-19 High School Mock Trial Season, and we are seeking volunteer attorney coaches!

As one of JDC’s diversity pipeline programs, the San Francisco County Mock Trial program works with public high school students here in San Francisco.  Students act as attorneys and witnesses, prepare their case based on a package of witness statements and evidence, and present it in February during the regional competition.  Coaches meet on a weekly basis to work with students and help them master the facts, objections, and legal argument.

Attorneys from all practices and backgrounds are welcome!  Although helpful, trial experience is not necessary.
