BASF members Craig M. Peters, Altair Law, and David L. Winnett, The Veen Firm, were named Attorneys of the Year by Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). Peters and Winnett were recognized for securing a nearly $15 million verdict against Mazda for a defective seat design that left a woman paralyzed.

Former CAOC president and BASF member Mary Alexander, Mary Alexander & Associates, was also honored with the Edward I. Pollock Award for achieving a landmark verdict, holding lead paint as a public nuisance.
