Governor Jerry Brown announced the appointment of 13 judges on Friday, including the following BASF members:

BASF member Eumi K. Lee was appointed to the Alameda County Superior Court, where she will be the first Korean-American judge. She has been a professor at UC Hastings College of the Law since 2005.

Audra Ibarra was appointed to the Santa Clara County Superior Court, where she will be the first Filipina-American judge. Ibarra is a former regular contributor to San Francisco Attorney magazine, writing the Review of Recent Cases column until 2016.
