Meet Caitlin Flammer, our Volunteer and Clinics Coordinator, who connects volunteers to the Justice & Diversity Center’s (JDC) pro bono projects and organizes our monthly Legal Advice and Referral Clinics (LARCs).
Caitlin is a native of the Bay Area and currently lives in San Francisco. She has a strong background in housing and environmental justice issues. She previously worked with the Sacramento Air Quality Management District to increase use and accessibility of alternative fuels and served as vice president of the Solar Community Housing Association, an affordable, cooperative housing nonprofit.
Currently, Caitlin is working on restructuring our LARC project to serve clients more effectively, looking at new approaches to the referral process, accessibility issues, and volunteer recruitment. She loves her work at JDC because she gets to contribute to our mission of providing equal access to legal services, and she is consistently impressed by JDC’s generous and driven volunteers.
Caitlin graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Community and Regional Development, with an emphasis in Policy and Planning. In her spare time, Caitlin likes to hike and write, and she recently took up drawing. You can find her on any given weekend jogging around Mount Sutro or trying to organize a winning trivia team.
