The Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) welcomes Jones Day as the most recent firm to join the Right to Civil Counsel movement in San Francisco.
Jones Day has partnered with JDC on pro bono work for several years, but recently also pledged to help stabilize children’s lives through the Guardianship Project.
After attending a training at the firm’s San Francisco office, nine Jones Day attorneys are ready to, and have begun to, represent low-income clients in petitions for guardianship of the person.
JDC thanks Jones Day for joining the movement to provide access to legal services in cases involving basic human needs.
For more information on the Right to Civil Counsel movement, contact Pro Bono Manager Gloria Chun at gchun@sfbar.org.
