BASF Past President Jeff Bleich was recently appointed to join the Board of Directors of Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). Bleich’s appointment, along with the appointment of nine other new board members as well as a new CEO, is part of the significant changes in leadership aimed at navigating PG&E through the Chapter 11 process. The appointments are the result of engagement with the company’s shareholders and stakeholders, and will be effective as of the next in-person board meeting.
Jeffrey Bleich, a partner and Group CEO at Dentons, previously served as U.S. Ambassador to Australia from 2009 to 2013 and also as Special Counsel to President Obama. Prior to that, Bleich was a long-time partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson, and in 2003 served as president of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
