Will begin serving clients in summer of 2013
The Justice & Diversity Center’s Federal Pro Bono Project will open a second office at the Oakland courthouse of the U.S. District Court of Northern California.
The project provides one-on-one legal assistance to pro se litigants with civil cases before the Northern District. The project also secures pro bono counsel for litigants whom the court refers for placement. The project is currently housed at the San Francisco courthouse and the Oakland office is scheduled to open this summer. This expansion is possible through a generous grant from the court which will allow more clients access to this valuable legal resource.
For more information about the project, please email probono@sfbar.org.
