On April 28, the Impala Racing Team hosted the second annual Stow Lake Stampede, a 5K race in Golden Gate Park. Turnout this year was even higher than last year, with more than 400 participants. Invited by BASF board member Jennifer Redmond, Sheppard Mullin Hampton & Richter, the Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) and the Barristers Club joined the event.

Staff and volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to connect with members of the public and showcase community programs including Immigrant Legal Defense Programs and the SF-Marin Lawyer Referral and Information Service.

Events like the Stowlake Stampede are just one example of the Barristers Club’s focus on health and wellness this year. Stay tuned for many more opportunities to enjoy the outdoors this summer.
