On November 5, the Justice & Diversity Center of The Bar Association of San Francisco, partnering with the San Francisco Superior Court’s Veterans Justice Court, Farella, Braun, & Martel, Salesforce, and Swords to Plowshares, held a free legal clinic offering legal services to veterans.
Twenty-nine veterans from San Francisco and the East Bay received assistance with 47 legal issues ranging from Veterans Administration benefits to collection defense and child support matters.
The clients who served in the military and the 39 volunteers, some of whom are veterans themselves, enjoyed working side-by-side to tackle legal issues and help stabilize the lives of those who have served our country.
