JDC and the Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) welcome three post-Bar law clerks who will be helping low-income clients with their eviction cases: Daniel Evans, Taylor Pospichel and Michael Spalding.
Daniel returns to HAP after interning there for most of 2012. He is from Cleveland, and earned his undergraduate degree in Intercultural Communications from the University of Cincinnati. Daniel received his JD, and a Certificate of Specialization in Intellectual Property, from Golden Gate University this past May. While attending Golden Gate, Daniel interned at the Eviction Defense Collaborative and HAP, and worked for the Hooshmand Law Group, helping to represent low-income tenants in affirmative lawsuits against landlords.
Taylor returns to HAP after externing there this past Spring. She received her BA from George Washington University, and graduated from UC Hastings in May. At Hastings, she fulfilled the requirements for the Social Justice Lawyering concentration, and participated in the Community Group Advocacy Clinic.
Michael joined HAP in September, after receiving a degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University, and graduating from San Francisco Law School in June. He previously worked in corporate governance and at another local non-profit organization. He enjoys working for tenants during San Francisco’s recent affordable housing crunch. He has one cat.
Welcome, Daniel, Taylor and Michael!
