Sarah Good Appointed to California State Bar Board of Trustees
BASF Member Sarah A. Good, Farella Braun + Martel, has been appointed to the State Bar of California’s Board of Trustees – the bar’s governing body and a group tasked with developing guiding policies and principles underpinning the organization’s regulatory mission overseeing approximately 280,000 attorneys. Good joined the 13-member body by appointment by the Supreme Court of California on January 26 and will serve through September 2024.
With more than 25 years of experience in complex commercial, consumer, and securities litigation matters, Good represents companies and their directors and executives in class actions, derivative litigation and government investigations, and litigation.

The firms are recognized as “Tipping the Scales” for having 50% or more women in their 2022 new partner class. The Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s New Partner Report, a compilation of public data released each year since 2012, revealed that 40.2% of new partners from 206 major U.S. law firms in 2022 were women, which represents a decrease from last year’s figure of 40.9%.
