Have you thought about being a judge? Perhaps it is the reason you entered law school and became a lawyer. If you are an attorney who has been practicing for at least three years, consider applying to the Justice & Diversity Center’s Judicial Mentorship Program. It is a unique year-long program that fosters mutual mentoring and learning relationships between judicial officers and attorneys from diverse backgrounds.
The deadline to apply has been extended to June 12. Details and the application letter are available on our website at www.sfbar.org/judicial-mentorship.
Diversity on the bench is crucial to our legal profession and to our communities. This program was developed to address that need and helps prepare attorneys for a possible judicial position, and provide the tools needed for broader personal and professional development.
Please direct any questions and inquiries about the program to Samantha Akwei at sakwei@sfbar.org.
