More than 40 students attended two recent Destination Law School panel presentations, one at Mills College and the other at Berkeley College.
The Mills College panelists included E. Venessa Henlon, Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass; Peter Catalanotti, Manning, Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester; and Antonio Ingram, Morrison & Foerster and a former JDC Bay Area Minority Law Student Scholarship recipient.
The Berkeley City College panelists included Yonina Alexander, Sanford Heisel Kimpel; Allyssa Villanueva, UC Hastings College of the Law student; and Brandon Lawrence, AIDS Legal Referral Panel.
Both panels were moderated by BASF/JDC Diversity Pipeline Programs Manager Elizabeth McGriff.
The panelists provided students with valuable information about law school and sage advice about the legal profession based on their experiences. The students asked thoughtful questions and found the panel beneficial.

“I rate this panel discussion 10/10 because I am walking away with a lot of valuable information that I plan on applying to my educational and personal development.”
“I was inspired and it made the idea of applying to law school more real.”
“I’ve learned quite a good deal regarding LSAT preparation and the admissions process. I found this to be extremely informative.”
