Diana Kruze, Mediator, Arbitrator, Private Judge, and Discovery Referee/Special Master, joins BASF’s panel of ADR neutrals. Kruze has successfully settled multi-million dollar cases around the world and has extensive experience with a wide range of disputes, from high technology to family law cases.
Prior to becoming a mediator, Kruze was a full-time judicial officer with the California Superior Court and a litigation partner at Morrison & Foerster, where she specialized in commercial litigation, intellectual property, and discovery disputes. In recognition of her legal work, Kruze has received several awards, including the American Arbitration Association’s Higginbotham Fellowship for outstanding ADR professionals, the Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40, and BASF’s Barrister of the Year award.
She has also served in many capacities at BASF, including serving on its Barristers Board of Directors and the Intellectual Property Executive Board. With her breadth of experience and contagious optimism, Kruze utilizes diplomacy, thorough preparation, and an endless supply of patience to bridge new channels of communication, forge unique paths to settlement, and finesse through barriers to resolution.
