The Bar Association of San Francisco is excited to announce the signing of Schiff Hardin as its newest Leaders Circle firm (formerly Sponsor Firms).
Schiff Hardin was founded in Chicago during the Civil War and today has nearly 400 attorneys in offices in Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Chicago, Lake Forest, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Their presence in the Bay Area began in 2007 when Morgenstein & Jubelirer combined with Schiff Hardin.
Their 40-attorney San Francisco office continues the Morgenstein & Jubelirer tradition of excellent trial advocacy along with growing practices in Private Wealth, Real Estate, Corporate, Municipal Finance, and Bankruptcy and Restructuring. As a national firm, Schiff Hardin has strong capabilities in most areas of law and deploys its breadth of experience across a wide array of practice areas in representing local, regional, national and international clients. Jean Bertrand and Steve Hankins serve as coordinating partners in the San Francisco office.
The firm is especially proud of its firm-wide, mandatory pro bono commitment, which engages many of its attorneys across the firm on important trials as well as a full spectrum of other legal commitments to underserved communities and individuals lacking legal access.
