Mind the Gap (MTG), a BASF program established under the direction of 2013 President Chris Kearney of Keker & Van Nest, recently won three awards at the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Conference in August.
MTG was honored with the Most Outstanding Single Project “Service to the Bar Award.”
The program also won first place for “Service to the Bar” for like-sized bar associations. And the MTG newsletter was awarded second place in the “Young Lawyer Newsletter” category.
The goal of Mind the Gap is to provide recent law school graduates who are unemployed or underemployed with training, work experience, mentorship and debt reduction information. This initiative will consist of five key components.
