The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) team worked with media outlets across the continent this month, sharing information about immigration, due process, and ICE raids.
Here are July’s highlights:
- BASF immigration attorney Hamid Yazdan Panah, was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle OP-ED section: Stopping ICE raids begins with ending immigration detention. Hamid is also the advocacy director for the San Francisco-based California Collaborative for Immigrant Justice, one of BASF’s partners for immigration issues.
- Katie Kavanagh, BASF immigration attorney, spoke with the Canadian Broadcasting Company about the crackdown on undocumented immigrants.
- Katie also appeared on San Francisco’s KRON 4 to talk about deportation and the new trend to speed up extradition.
