The Barristers Club Diversity Issues Committee recently honored Quyen Ta and Otis Bruce, Jr.
Ta, a partner at Keker & Van Nest, was recognized for her work in inspiring minorities. She has successfully led BASF’s Barristers Club as its board’s diversity director and a co-chair of BASF’s Equality Committee on Minorities to ensure there is equal access to success in the legal profession for all minorities.
Bruce, a Marin County deputy district attorney, was recognized for his tireless mentorship of young attorneys and the larger diversity pipeline. Bruce was the first black prosecutor in Marin and the first ethnic minority president of the Marin County Bar Association. He dedicates countless hours to mentoring young attorneys.
