The Barristers Club, The Bar Association of San Francisco’s (BASF) new attorney division, recently announced the officers for its 2018 Board of Directors: Drew Amoroso, How to be an Invaluable Associate Program, will serve as president; John Hamasaki, Hamasaki Law, will serve as president-elect; Natascha Fastabend, University of San Francisco School of Law, LLM Program, will serve as Treasurer; and Kelly Matayoshi, Farella Braun + Martel, will serve as Secretary.
Continuing board members are: John-Paul Deol, Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton; Anjali Kulkarni, Duane Morris; Sean McHenry, Minnis & Smallets; Lauren Young Epstein, Baker & McKenzie; Jessica Ryland, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith and Pierre Zado, Zado Law.
Outgoing board members are: Timothy Burr, Jr., Lyft; Ben Feuer, California Appellate Law Group; Adam Kaplan, Munger Tolles & Olson; and Phyra McCandless, Cotchett Pitre & McCarthy.
Slated to join the board of directors in 2018 are: Nadim Hegazi, Gordon-Creed, Kelley, Holl & Sugerman; Matthew Valdez, San Francisco Giants; and Jamie Wells, McGuireWoods.
The new officers and directors will start their terms January 1, 2018. They will be installed at BASF’s Annual Membership Luncheon on December 14, 2017, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
