Eva Paterson Honored with Public Service Award
The Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center honored BASF member Eva Paterson, Equal Justice Society President and Co-Founder, with its Matthew O. Tobriner Public Service Award. The award was presented at LAS-ELC’s 99th Anniversary Luncheon in June.

Bay Area Legal Aid Announces Board of Directors
Jonathan Hughes of Arnold & Porter replaced retiring board member Dirk Schenkkan on the Bay Area Legal Aid Board of Directors.
Thomas Gede Elected Chair of UC Hastings Board of Directors
Thomas Gede, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, was recently elected as Chair of the UC Hastings Board of Directors. Gede was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2009. His term as chair began July 1, 2015.
