Marguerite Malloy, Associate Counsel of the Alameda County Employees’ Retirement Association (ACERA), provides legal advice and assistance to the ACERA Board of Retirement and ACERA management staff. She also supervises and conducts workplace investigations and develops and conducts management and employee compliance and EEO training. Malloy handles litigation including but not limited to administrative hearings, grievances, and writ defense. Prior to joining the Executive Committee, she served both as a Chief and as a Sole Arbitrator in BASF’s fee disputes program.
Jordan Elias, an appellate specialist at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, represents plaintiffs in consumer protection, anti-trust, securities, and mass tort cases. He has designed and presented CLE material on public policy and complex litigation topics for the American Law Institute, the Practising Law Institute, and Strafford Publications. Prior to joining the Executive Committee, he served both as a Chief and as a Sole Arbitrator in BASF’s fee disputes program.
