In light of recent developments to constantly evolving employment law such as AB 5, the Association of Corporate Counsel’s San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and Cozen O’Connor teamed up with the Justice and Diversity Center’s Community Organization Representation Project (CORP) to hold a free clinic for five local nonprofits on February 7.
Nonprofits from San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose received timely and pertinent pro bono legal advice from experienced volunteer attorneys. The direct services provided by the nonprofits in attendance ranged from immigration law services, employability training, educational programs, social services for families, and more.
JDC thanks all the volunteers who contributed their time and expertise in participating in this clinic, as well as a special appreciation to Cozen O’Connor for hosting the event at the former offices of Miller Law Group.
