Arturo Gonzalez Summer Law Student Fellowships
The Justice & Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco, in partnership with 2010 President Arturo González, Morrison & Foerster, is now accepting applications for the Arturo González Summer Law Student Fellowship.
The six-to-eight week fellowships are for law students who want to gain exposure and acquire significant practical experience in Immigration Legal Defense and Family Law. Stipends will be $2,500.
Award Criteria
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school as a rising second or third year law student
- Good academic standing
- An interest in advocacy and/or public interest law
- Preference will be given to candidates with a diverse background
Applicants must submit the following by May 25, 2018:
- Statement of interest not to exceed 500 words
- An official law school transcript (e-transcript sent directly from the school will be accepted)
- Two letters of recommendation
