Tyler Meade mediates complex cases in California, New York, and elsewhere. He brings 30 years of diverse experience to the practice of mediation, including two decades litigating complex cases around the country. In his current role as Chief Legal Officer of a New York company with worldwide operations, Meade manages complex issues at the intersection of law, regulation, and technology.

Meade has deep experience with eight-, nine-, and ten-figure settlement negotiations, both as a mediator and as counsel. He quickly grasps complicated dynamics, and subtle nuances as well. Having worked on both sides of the ā€œvā€ throughout his career, he understands the perspectives of plaintiffs and defendants. Meade is creative, pragmatic, and dogged in pursuit of resolution.

Presently, Meade is Chief Legal Officer of Gemini, which operates fully regulated digital asset exchanges in North America and Europe and serves users around the world. In addition, Gemini is a digital asset custodian, including for exchange traded funds and other institutional users through its limited purpose trust company, Gemini Trust Company, LLC. Meade manages a team of lawyers in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Meade began his career in 1993 as a prosecutor in San Francisco, and then transitioned to civil practice in 1998. After gaining early experience in complex litigation, he founded a boutique civil litigation firm in 2004. Meade represented plaintiffs and defendants in a broad array of complex litigation until he joined Gemini in 2024. High value contract disputes were a mainstay of his practice. He continues to mediate through Presidio ADR, LLC which he founded in 2022.

Meade studied mediation at the Harvard Program on Negotiation, Cornell University, and Pepperdine Law School, among other programs.
