More than 80 people attended BASF’s No Glass Ceiling Initiative’s “Lean In” in the Legal Profession panel and reception in July.
The event focused on Sheryl Sandberg’s new book, Lean In, and the ability for women to control their own destinies in the workplace.
Panelists included: Michelle Banks, General Counsel, Gap Inc.; Isobel Jones, General Counsel, Annie’s Inc.; Mary LaVigne-Butler, General Counsel, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte; and Dana C.F. Kromm, Partner, Shearman & Sterling.
Panelists discussed how they forged successful legal careers, professional challenges they faced, and advice they have for other women as they “lean in” into their own careers.
