The Barristers Immigration Law Section educates members on all areas of immigration law. Topics span substantive and procedural law, as well as immigration issues of both local and national importance.
The section serves members in their first ten years of practice and provides guidance to attorneys who are new to immigration law. Continuing Legal Education programs cover deportation, asylum, family immigration, business- and employment-related immigration, and nationality law.
The section also hosts networking events and welcomes attorneys who want to learn more about how immigration issues overlap with their areas of practice.
