Littler Mendelson Wins MCCA Thomas Sager Award
BASF Leader Circle firm Littler Mendelson was recently named the winner of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s (MCCA) Thomas L. Sager Award.
The firm was honored by MCCA for demonstrating sustained commitment to improving the hiring, retention and promotion of diverse attorneys.
Lieff Cabraser Attorneys Making Headlines
Lexi Hazam was recently elected chair of the American Association for Justice’s Section on Toxic, Environmental and Pharmaceutical Torts (STEP).
Lieff Cabraser attorney Yaman Salahi has been appointed to the newly-formed City of Oakland Privacy Advisory Commission. As a com-missioner, Salahi will participate in hearings and the drafting of reports and legislation to advise the City of Oakland on “best practices to protect Oaklanders’ privacy rights in connection with the City’s purchase and use of surveillance equipment and other technology that collects or stores data.”
Duane Morris Partner Recognized by National Bar Association
Terrance J. Evans was recently named by the National Bar Association (NBA) as one of its “40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates” for 2016.
The awards recognize the top lawyers under age 40 in the United States who exemplify a broad range of high achievement in the law, including in advocacy, innovation, vision, leadership and overall legal and community involvement.
