Winston Liaw Recognized as one of the “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” in California by the Daily Journal

Davis Wright Tremaine has welcomed Daniel Quinley to the Real Property team as Counsel in San Francisco. He will work closely with the real estate, land use, energy, and environmental teams drawing upon his expertise of California’s legal landscape. Daniel previously was in private practice in San Francisco and Sacramento often working alongside federal and state policymakers and regulatory agencies.

The feature states, “These outstanding CEOs, entrepreneurs and top executives are making a difference in the local business community and will continue to do so well into the future.” A celebration will be held on April 24th at the Westin St. Francis to honor the 2025 class.


Adam Cashman the Daily Journal’s “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” for 2025

Adam Cashman, partner at BraunHagey & Borden’s San Francisco office, was acknowledged for a second consecutive year in the Daily Journal’s “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” for 2025. The BHB announcement shares that Cashman “is known for his exceptional courtroom advocacy in this space and ability to resolve cases creatively and favorably for his clients.” His clients include Fortune 100 companies, startups, investment funds, prominent individuals, and family and legacy businesses.


Kelly Matayoshi Honored as Alum of the Year and Rachel Proffitt Honored with the Inaugural Chancellor’s Alumni of Distinction Award

 Congratulations to two members and UC Law San Francisco alumni who were recently awarded for their legacy at the college and current work in the legal community. Kelly Matayoshi, partner at Leader Circle firm Farella Braun + Martel was honored as Alum of the Year and Rachel Proffitt, CEO of Cooley, was honored with the inaugural Chancellor’s Alumni of Distinction Award. This is an incredible recognition as UC Law SF is the nation’s number one school for lawyers admitted by the California State Bar.
