What is your role – can you refer prospective clients to LARR?

Are the services free?
Yes. LARR was formed in the public interest to increase access to legal advice and representation for individuals, health providers, and organizations affected by criminal or civil measures burdening or banning abortion and other forms of reproductive care. LARR also assists those charged with criminal offenses for pregnancy outcomes deemed the result of reckless or negligent conduct during pregnancy. The participating law firms are committed to providing pro bono services.
How does the referral process work?
We ask that you have the prospective client contact us directly by email at LARR@sfbar.org or by phone at 415-875-7076 to provide a general description of the legal issue. We then endeavor to match the prospective client with a suitable law firm.
