BASF Leader Circle firm member Shannon Nessier, Hanson Bridgett,  was recently recognized and named to leadership positions with two organizations:

During the 2018 Annual Meeting for the Defense Research Institute, the leading organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel, Nessier was appointed First Vice-Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee.  The Young Lawyers Committee focuses on providing its members the best professional development, quality CLE programs and networking opportunities of any legal organization.

In addition, Nessier was named Alumnus of the Year for the Globalaw Leadership Programme. She served her first of a two-year term as the vice-chair of the Globalaw Leadership Committee working on a project to foster connections with former member lawyers who have gone in-house around the globe, and spearheaded the implementation of an event/seminar app for use at each of the regional and annual meetings.  In addition, after a unanimous vote by the membership of Globalaw, she was named to the Board of Directors, as an Advisory Director for the 2019 year.
