Am I eligible to become a BASF member?Do I need a BASF ID number to take advantage of the member benefits?Yes, you will be asked for your BASF ID number when you access or apply for many of your exclusive member benefits. How do I find my BASF ID numberYour BASF ID number is printed on your membership card (see the next question below). If you can't find your card or don't know your number, please contact Monique Jackson at (415)782-9000 x8775 or email her at mjackson@sfbar.org. How do I get a membership card?After we receive payment of membership dues, we will send out your membership card. Please allow 3-5 weeks for your membership card to arrive in the mail. Your membership card includes your BASF member number. Please keep this is a safe place—you'll be asked for this number when you apply for certain services in Member Benefits. Do I need to be a member to attend an event?Anyone is welcome to attend our events. However, as a BASF member you get a special discount when you register for an event. How do I change my address and contact information?To update your contact information, please fill out the contact information update form. How much are my dues?Your BASF Membership Dues are based on the number of years you have been practicing law. When does my membership expire?A BASF Membership runs for a calendar year, January 1st to December 31st. How do I sign up for the BASF eNewsletter?Members automatically receive our newsletter two times a month. To ensure receipt of the BASF newsletter, please add our domain name, sfbar.org, to your Whitelist or Address book. |
