Legal Professionals will better understand the proper utilization of paralegals, including legal and ethical rules and delegable and billable tasks. The California statutory requirements for hiring, supervising, and records related to paralegals will also be covered, with emphasis of identifying proper billing practices. California and federal cases and advisory opinions related to the billing for paralegal time will be discussed.
