This presentation will provide an overview of how business immigration has fared under the current administration. It will examine the adjudication patterns and policies whose stated purpose is to protect the US worker's rights. In practice, these policies have hindered the innovation and productivity of US companies and hindered the immigration process of employment-based immigrants.

Topics
• Introduction to business immigration and overview of a number of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas
• The policies and practices that have resulted from the April 2017 Buy American Hire American executive order
• The impact BAHA has had on American companies and the foreign nationals they need to hire
