Riedley as the 2008 Barrister of the Year, Award to be Presented at Annual Luncheon in December Tara Riedley served as the 2008 Chair of the Judges Reception Committee which raised over $70,000 for the Barristers Club's community service, pro bono and professional development programs. The award is given in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the life of the Club, commitment to the ideals of legal justice and professional excellence, promotion of the Club's role in the legal community, leadership within the organization and motivation of other volunteers. Save the date for the Barristers Club First Annual Charity Ball in September The Barristers Club presents its Crystal Ball on Saturday, September 20. The primary goal of this event is to collect suit donations to help students involved in the Law Academy program. The students are given internships in the legal field and are in need of work appropriate clothing. Proceeds from the event will help fund the School-To-College annual East Coast college trip and the annual state capital trip for Law Academy students.
